The teens church has been organised to raise excellent Godly teenagers in this generation we are in. This includes children from thirteen (13) to nineteen (19) years of age. The church teaches based on the word of God, on practical issues that they will undoubtedly have to face in this current generation, so that they are adequately prepared as they begin their transformation to young adults.
The church organizes programs that encourage the teenagers to explore their creative talents. This includes annual participation in the God’s Children got Talent (GCGT) program organised by our parent Region, Region 20 of the RCCG (The Apapa family).
Within the church the teens church is also involved in the annual summer school program organised in collaboration with the Goodlife foundation, and various career talks are also organized to assist the youth make informed career decisions that will benefit them in future, based on their areas of strength.
AIM
- Sound teaching of the word in relationship to academic excellence.
- To teach moral education and social responsibility.
- To begin to evolve in the teenagers the concept of personal empowerment.
- To empower them with the word to enable them make sound judgement in the midst of adversity.
- To enable them take a stand for God amidst peer pressure.
- To assist them in making decisions that will bring them into their God ordained destinies.
