WELFARE

The welfare ministry is tasked with the responsibility of advising the church on the physical, and material needs of church members and also to provide support to such members when they are going through challenging/critical times.

Areas of support could include (but are not limited to) financial assistance, medical aid, educational support among others. The ministry aims to do this while also contributing to the emotional and spiritual development of those requiring assistance.

The ministry has regularly executed several programs including the “One hundred naira shop” where a variety of second-hand items in good condition are made available for sale at one hundred naira each, no matter what the Item is. All proceeds are again used to fund welfare issues.

A variety of food items are also made available for widows and the needy in our locality at specific periods.
